Women's textured silver wedding ring: Urchin by polkadile

This women?s silver ring band is made with skeleton of sterling silver wire under the fine silver hand sculpted form, to withstand the stress of life. Each is hand sculpted from the scratch, no casting is involved, so each is truly one of a kind piece based on this design.

This summer we spent our family vacation in Acadia National Park in Maine. There was this great cruise with live video dive, so that the kids can see what is on the bottom of the ocean. You should have heard the sighs and excitement yelps from the under-10yr crowd. Later the diver brought the ?catch? on deck so that the little ones can see and touch for themselves. We had so much fun!

This ring was made as a memento to this experience, and with a real urchin skeleton, that had I since I was a kid. It reminds me of the childhood wonders coming from the ocean.

The ring is made of pure silver (.999), about 3/8" or 5 mm wide and it is completely sculpted by hand. I gave it a nice patina, so it has more definition on the bumpy parts.

To order the ring just put your size in the notes to seller during the check out process. If you don't know your size please refer to my policies for the detailed instruction on how to measure your ring finger. You can then just send me that measurement, either inches or millimeters will do.

I also carry men's version and sets for couples, as you can see from the second picture.

Comes in a nice little hand made pouch, that I sew myself out of recycled fabric. Gift wrapping is also made out of recycled materials. No need to feel guilty about it.

All my items are hand made, and as such not perfect, but that is the hidden beauty in all of us.
